Federal Contractors required by Executive Order to offer paid sick leave to workers

On 9/08/2015 President Barack Obama signed an executive order that requires federal contractors to offer paid sick leave to workers.  This order could create complications for larger firms that must comply with a growing number of jurisdictions' paid sick leave rules, say experts.
The executive signed by the president on "Labor Day" will give workers one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked beginning in 2017.  This will require all businesses with 15 or more employees to offer up to seven paid sick days each year.
